Major causes for dust-haze: volatile organic waste gas (dust-haze = particulate matter + photochemical smog)
· Mixture of product generated during reaction of air with nitric oxide and VOCs in sunlight and reactants.
· Secondary aerosol produced by reaction of volatile organic compound with nitric oxide and sulfur oxide.
Operating principle
For purification of large volume and low concentration waste gas with VOCs, if the components of the waste gas have no recovery value, combined purification process- zeolite rotor concentrator system + incineration (TO, RTO, RCO, etc.) is generally used at present. The waste gas is changed from low concentration (100-2000mg/m3) to high concentration (> 5000mg/ m3) by the zeolite rotor concentrator system, continuous self-sustained combustion may be performed for concentrated waste gas with VOCs in combustion equipment without external heating, and so the operating cost for waste gas burning may be reduced significantly.Additionally, the volume of the concentrated waste gas is considerably reduced (generally concentration multiple 5-20), and the cost of combustion equipment is obviously reduced.

The zeolite rotor concentrator concentrates the organic waste gas from large volume and low concentration to small volume and high concentration by three consecutive temperature variation adsorption – desorption process: absorption– desorption – concentration.The zeolite rotor concentrator generally consists of an adsorption area, a cooling area, and a desorption area. Absorption, desorption and adsorbent recycling may be simultaneously completed on the rotor by the rotation of the rotor. The organic waste gas may be directly discharge into air according to standard after absorption and purification by the rotor at the desorption area at room temperature. The desorption is performed for adsorbent saturated after absorption at the high temperature desorption area while the adsorbent is recycled. The high concentration and high temperature waste gas obtained after desorption is transported to the combustion equipment for burning and purification, and emitted after reaching standard. The recycled adsorbent is cooled at the cooling area to recover its adsorption capacity. In this way, low concentration waste gas is continuously purified.
